Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

InvoicePro ("we", "our", or "us"), developed by Barood Works, is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information InvoicePro collects, how it is used, and your rights regarding that information.

By using InvoicePro you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the app.

2. Information We Collect

InvoicePro keeps two distinct kinds of information in two distinct places.

Account information — created automatically so the app can function, stored by our backend provider Supabase Inc.:

• Anonymous account identifier — the first time you open InvoicePro, the app creates an anonymous account for you. There is no sign-up: we do not ask for, or collect, your name, email address, or a password.
• Device identifier — to grant each device a single free trial and prevent the trial from being reset by reinstalling the app, we collect a device identifier (the Android ID on Android, or an identifier generated and kept in the secure Keychain on iPhone and iPad) and store it to recognise the device. This is not an advertising identifier.
• Authentication tokens — short-lived tokens that keep your anonymous session active.
• Subscription state — your current InvoicePro Pro status, plan, trial dates, and expiry.
• Anonymous usage milestones — four simple yes/no flags that record whether you have (1) opened the app for the first time, (2) set up a business profile, (3) created an invoice, and (4) added a client. These are true/false values only; we never collect the contents of your business profile, your invoices, or your clients. They let us understand overall app usage and measure how effective our advertising is.

For security and fraud prevention, request metadata (IP address, timestamp) may be retained for up to 90 days, then permanently deleted.

Advertising measurement (Google Analytics for Firebase) — to understand which ads lead to people actually using InvoicePro, the app uses Google Analytics for Firebase, provided by Google LLC. It reports the anonymous usage milestones above to Google so we can measure and improve our advertising. On Android, this measurement also uses your device's advertising identifier, which you can reset or limit at any time in your device settings. On iPhone and iPad, it does not use the advertising identifier (IDFA) and relies on Apple's privacy-preserving on-device measurement instead. This is used only for advertising measurement and is never linked to the contents of your business, clients, or invoices.

Business & invoice data — stored only on your device, never uploaded to our servers:

• Business information — your business name, address, phone number, email address, and logo that appear on your invoices.
• Client information — names, email addresses, phone numbers, and postal addresses of your clients.
• Invoice & financial data — line items, prices, taxes, discounts, payment records, notes, and currencies.
• App settings — your preferences such as language, theme, and invoice templates.

If you turn on the optional Google Drive backup, you sign in with your Google account; it is used only to store your backup file in your own Google Drive. Other than the anonymous usage milestones (and, on Android, the advertising identifier) described above, we do not collect crash reports, and we never collect the contents of your business, client, or invoice data.

3. How We Use Your Information

All information you enter is used exclusively to:

• Generate, display, and export invoices and receipts as PDF files.
• Populate recurring invoice drafts based on your saved schedules.
• Display dashboards, reports, and client summaries inside the app.
• Understand aggregate app usage and measure the effectiveness of our advertising, using the anonymous yes/no usage milestones (and, on Android, the advertising identifier) described in section 2.
• Back up and restore your data via Google Drive or iCloud, when you choose to enable that feature.

The account information in section 2 is used only to run your free trial and subscription, keep you signed in to your anonymous account, and prevent abuse of the free trial. We never use the contents of your business, client, or invoice data for advertising or profiling. The only information used to measure advertising effectiveness is the anonymous yes/no usage milestones (and, on Android, the advertising identifier) described in section 2.

4. Data Storage & Security

InvoicePro uses a hybrid storage model:

• Account information (the items in section 2) is stored by Supabase Inc., encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest.
• Business and invoice data is stored only on your device, in an on-device database. It is never transmitted to our servers.

If you enable the optional cloud backup feature:

• Google Drive backup — your business and invoice data is uploaded to your personal Google Drive account using Google's secure APIs. The backup file is stored in your own Drive and is governed by Google's Privacy Policy. We have no access to your Google account or Drive files.
• iCloud backup — your business and invoice data is uploaded to your personal iCloud account using Apple's framework. The backup is stored in your own iCloud and is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. We have no access to your iCloud account or its contents.

You can disable backup and delete any existing backup files at any time from Settings → Backup & Restore.

5. Third-Party Services

InvoicePro integrates with the following third-party services:

• Supabase Inc. (anonymous accounts, subscription state, and trial-abuse prevention) — supabase.com/privacy
• Google Play Billing (subscription payments on Android) — policies.google.com/privacy
• Apple App Store / StoreKit (subscription payments on iPhone and iPad) — apple.com/legal/privacy
• Google LLC (Google Drive and Google Sign-In, used only for the optional backup feature) — policies.google.com/privacy
• Google LLC (Google Analytics for Firebase, used only to measure advertising effectiveness via the anonymous usage milestones in section 2 and, on Android, your advertising identifier) — policies.google.com/privacy
• Apple Inc. (iCloud backup, optional) — apple.com/legal/privacy

InvoicePro uses Google Analytics for Firebase solely to measure the effectiveness of our advertising; through it, the anonymous usage milestones described in section 2 (and, on Android, your device's advertising identifier) are shared with Google for that purpose. We integrate no other analytics providers, advertising networks, or tracking SDKs, and the contents of your business, client, and invoice data are never shared with any third party. We do not sell or rent your data.

6. Data Retention & Deletion

Your data remains on your device for as long as you use the app. You can permanently delete all your data and your account at any time by going to Settings → scroll to the bottom → Delete Account.

This action is irreversible and removes all locally stored records. If you have enabled cloud backup, you must also delete the backup file manually from your Google Drive or iCloud account.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights under applicable law (including GDPR and CCPA) to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction or deletion of your data.
• Object to certain processing of your data.

8. Children's Privacy

InvoicePro is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, please contact us at info@barood.cc and we will take appropriate steps to address the situation.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, the "Effective Date" at the top of this page will be updated. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Your continued use of InvoicePro after any change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
